For licensed agents

Most agents hire the wrong person first, then decide delegation does not work.

A short training on which role actually comes first, what it costs against what it gives back, what has to be written down before anybody starts, and the three reasons first hires quietly fail inside ninety days.

You cannot delegate a process that only exists in your head.

The standard version goes like this. An agent gets busy, hires an assistant, spends three weeks explaining things, concludes it is faster to do it themselves, and the assistant leaves. The agent tells everybody that good help is impossible to find.

What actually happened is that a person was hired into a job that had never been written down.

Why first hires fail

You cannot hand somebody a job that has never existed outside your head.

Three weeks of explaining, a growing suspicion that it is faster to do it yourself, and then a quiet departure. It is the most common hiring story in this business and it is almost never about the person who was hired.

What you walk away with

Four things you will have that you do not have now.

01

The four roles in the right order

Which is almost never the order agents pick.

02

What each costs and returns

So the decision is math rather than nerve.

03

What must exist before day one

The written part, which is the part that gets skipped.

04

The three reasons hires fail

All three are preventable and all three are yours.

Worth your time if

  • You are licensed and consistently busy
  • You have thought about hiring and stalled
  • You have hired before and it did not work
  • You want the order rather than the encouragement

Not worth your time if

  • You want somebody to generate business for you
  • You are not licensed yet
  • Your volume will not support a hire yet
  • You are not willing to write anything down

Before you put your number in

The four things agents ask us first.

Is this a pitch dressed up as a training?

The training stands on its own and works whether or not you ever speak to us. The offer sits about two thirds of the way down, clearly labeled, and you can stop reading before it.

How long does it take?

Around forty minutes to watch. The whole thing is written out underneath, so you can read it in about ten if you would rather skim.

Do I have to leave my brokerage?

No. There is a paid option that changes nothing about where you hold your license, and the training explains both routes plainly.

What happens the second I submit this?

The training opens on the next page. Leave a number and we text you the link as well, so you can pick it back up later on your own time.

On tape, and still not settled

Two of our panelists answer this in opposite ways.

Both of them do this for a living. Both said it out loud on a recorded panel. The training covers which one holds up, and when.

Matt Battiata

A virtual assistant runs about six dollars an hour with no payroll tax.

There are now companies that do nothing but real estate VAs, at a fraction of what a local hire costs.

Mitch Ribak

Hire a licensed local assistant for anything client facing.

He wants someone who knows the market and can open doors when he cannot. His own admin hire became office manager, then general manager.

Worth knowing before you watch: the free route means partnering with our organization at eXp Realty. The training explains exactly what that means, and what it does not.
